After a long and fruitful life, we have sent our plumb tree to Tree Heaven. We hear it is a lovely place for all good fruitful trees. Congratulations, old plumb tree. You made it. And we (I more than Camille) will miss you. I will never forget the way the kids loved to climb you. Clara picking your plumbs is one of my favorite first memories of moving here four years ago.
